Dr. Kristina Camp

Hi guys!  I’m Kristina Camp and welcome to BodyRaleigh! For whatever reason you stopped by, I’m glad you’re here!

My life experiences as an international athlete, veterinarian, and doctor of nutrition have led me to start BodyRaleigh, LLC.

My passion is helping my clients create a healthy lifestyle through the power of nutrition.  My clients are my inspiration. My mission is to help them become the best version of themselves.

The diet-free, restriction-free strategies and techniques I implement in my nutrition consulting are what help my clients find their own definition of “balance”.  I urge my clients to define what balance means to them, set realistic goals, and tangibly define the “why” behind their goals. I’m all about self-love and building a lifestyle focused on health, and not some abstract and unproductive idea of perfection.

Everyone’s version of health, wellness, balance, and optimal living is different, and nutrition is not a one size fits all.  Instead of handing my clients a list of good and bad foods, I scientifically breakdown the pros and cons behind how these foods are digested and used in the body, and then allow them to use their own intuition and better judgment in determining the foods that work best for their bodies, and their lifestyle.

We each have our own personal goals, food preferences, food intolerances, and genetic profile that contributes to how food is broken down in the body and how that translates to either work for or against you and the way you feel on a daily basis.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, because the definitive answers of the “perfect diet” do not exist, but I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through my own personal and professional journey.  

Through research-based medicine coupled with years of academic training, my goal is to impart the fundamental concepts of the biochemistry behind food to each client in a way that empowers them to live life optimally.  Whether the initial goal is weight loss, fitness gains, or a complete metabolic reset, the end goal is always helping each client become the best version of themselves, both physically and mentally.

I love food and nutrition and feeling the best I can every single day.  My clients are truly a gift to me daily and I feel so blessed to touch the lives that I do.  I empathize with them, empower them, and rejoice with them when they achieve their goals. It isn’t about me – when they succeed, I succeed.   When they lean in, embrace the learning and the positive change, the science always sets them free.

Transforming our mindset, nutrition, and body is a journey.  And the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Countless people inspire me daily.  My hope is to give that positivity and inspiration back to the people that I work with.
